Appliance Delivery & Hookup Checklist
Ninety percent of appliance install problems are preparation problems. Run this checklist first.
Clear the path and the space
Measure the opening height, width and depth, and check the door swing. Remove the old unit's contents and defrost freezers 24 hours ahead.
Check the connections
Confirm you have a shut-off valve for water lines, a 3- or 4-prong dryer cord matching the outlet, and a vent that is not crushed behind the unit.
Plan for the old appliance
Add removal to the quote so the replaced unit leaves with the crew instead of living in your garage.
